Meet the Committee (2026/2027)
Youth Circles is powered by volunteers who believe in creating spaces where young people from different backgrounds can meet, listen, share and learn from one another.
Our committee brings together individuals with diverse experiences, perspectives and skills who contribute their time and expertise to support the development of Youth Circles.
All committee members serve on a voluntary basis, united by a shared commitment to intercultural understanding, meaningful dialogue and stronger connections among youths.

Camillia
Vice-Chairperson
Hello! I’m Camillia, the Vice-Chairperson of Youth Circles. I’m currently studying Sociology at NTU, and I joined Youth Circles because I wanted to understand diverse experiences directly from people themselves, rather than anecdotes in research and readings. I’m passionate about education and levelling the playing field for all, so hearing from youths through this project helps me learn about different experiences of being students. I hope Youth Circles will give youths a safe place to talk and share the things they might have never said aloud. I’m so excited to get this journey started and grow through this experience!

Tedrick
Secretary & Content Development
Hi I’m Tedrick, the Secretary and content writer for Youth Circles. I’m currently studying in Raffles Institution.
I joined Youth Circles because I wanted to broaden my horizons and learn more about youths and their stories in Singapore.
I’m passionate about creating a inclusive society in Singapore, and I hope youth circles will be one place where this idea is championed. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and playing the guitar.

Alysha
Creative Lead
Hi! I’m Alysha, and I’m the Creative & Design Lead for Youth Circles. I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Animation at Lasalle. I’ve always believed that visual art is a powerful way of communicating, and that’s what drew me to Youth Circles. I wanted to learn from diverse cultural stories and help build a safe space where youths can share their experiences freely. I’m especially passionate about how visuals like photography can capture broader narratives and give voice to perspectives that often go unheard. Outside of work, you’ll find me drawing on my iPad or getting lost in comics. I hope that Youth Circles continues to inspire more young people to express themselves confidently and share the stories that make them who they are.

Nadira
Programmes Lead
Hi! I’m Nadira, the Programmes Lead for Youth Circles! I’m starting my studies in Art Histories and Curatorial Practices at LASALLE College of the Arts, UAS. I joined Youth Circles to push past surface-level chat about culture and engage in honest and empathetic conversations on lived experiences and nuanced takes that may seem sensitive or uncomfortable. Naturally, I’m super passionate about building platforms for authentic dialogue and community storytelling! Beyond school, I love visiting galleries and volunteering through weekly free tutoring and food distributions. I hope Youth Circles will bridge cultural divides and redefine how our generation approaches diversity and inclusion together.

Nausheen
Marketing & Communications Lead
Hello, I'm Nausheen, the Marketing & Communications Lead for Youth Circles! I am currently studying Sound & Music at Singapore Polytechnic and I have always wanted to be involved in something meaningful and impactful. I joined Youth Circles as I wanted to meet new people & discuss about social issues that are happening.
It's something out of my comfort zone and hence I was excited to give it a try. I believe that meeting new people allows me to take on different perspectives of things & learn new values. One fun fact about me is that I love journalling! I love to write down anything and everything! I hope Youth Circles grows to become something that is impactful & many youths will get to make lifelong friendships after this experience!

Sahana
Partnerships Lead
Hi! I’m Sahana, the Partnerships Lead for Youth Circles. I’m currently studying the IB Diploma Programme at Westbourne College. I’m someone who enjoys social activities, meeting new people and being part of a community. I joined Youth Circles because I wanted to connect with people from different backgrounds and help build meaningful partnerships.
Through this role, I hope to bring more people together, contribute new ideas and create opportunities for young people to connect. I’m excited to work with the team and see what we can achieve together!
